SV2 Standard

The Sovereign SV2 Standard is a very versatile instrument. With its double cutaway body shape and rich and warm sounding covered ******* Wizard Humbuckers, the SV2 is as at home playing hard rock as it is with the blues. Add to this Sovereign's Double coil tap and you have an extremely capable guitar. At present the SV2 Standard has a solid 1 piece Mahogany body and 1 piece Mahogany neck with angled headstock, although, after extensive tone tests and increasing ecological constraints, the body and neck wood will be changing to Idigbo, similar in appearance but lighter in weight. Available in a range of gorgeous Pearlescent finishes, its 22 fret neck with compound radius fingerboard, is playable all the way to the 22nd fret, thanks to the Sovereign's glued in body/neck joint design. All Gotoh hardware with bridge options of stoptail with tune-o-matic bridge, Roller saddle trem or Double locking tremolo in Chrome or Gold.
